Green “Keep Me Going” Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients List:

Banana (can be frozen) | 1 pc

Spinach (can also be frozen) | Large Handful

Oats | 2 Large Tbsp

Flaxseeds | 1 Tbsp

Chia Seeds | 1 Tbsp

Peanut butter | 1 Tbsp

Honey or Maple Syrup | 1 tbsp

Oat Milk/Almond Milk | 300ml

Optional protein powder/supplement

This is the breakfast smoothie I make in the mornings to take to work. It keeps me going for hours and is full of goodness.

  • Tablespoon

  • A blender (nutribullet is perfect)

Method:

  1. Put it all in a blender and blend. You may need to stop the blender and scrape down the sides once and blend again.

Recipe tips: this recipe is great for using up the stuff that sometimes goes off quickly in your kitchen. If you see spinach starting to wilt - whack it in the freezer & use it later for this smoothie! You can do the same with the bananas, just make sure to peel them first.
